Santa Fe de Antioquia is the colonial town par excellence of the department (state or province) of Antioquia, whose capital city is Medellín. Because of its antiquity, many consider it one of the most charming and beautiful towns in Colombia. You will visit and cross the Puente de Occidente, a beautiful suspension bridge over the Cauca River, built at the end of the XIX century; you will observe objects and constructions dating from the XVII, XVIII and XIX centuries and imagine how people lived in those times; you will learn about some events of the conquest and the Spanish colonization in the region.
It departs from Medellín towards western Antioquia, on a route of approximately 60 kilometers (37 miles).
