Before starting the tour
⏱ Make sure your group is ready on time to meet the itinerary and navigate possible traffic contingencies.
🍲 It is best if everyone eats something to eat before starting the tour (unless you have taken a tour that includes breakfast).
🆔 Everyone should keep an identity document (ID card, passport, etc.) with them, to avoid delays in case of needing medical attention or attending an eventual request from the authorities.
🤳 Make sure your cell phone has a well charged battery and data services so that you maintain communication with our Whatsapp line. Tip: if your line does not have coverage in Colombia, you can go to a supermarket, pharmacy or stationery store and buy a SIM card (cell phone chip or “SIM card”). These usually come with a small balance available for making calls and using browsing data. In case you don’t have a balance, you can load a little (2 dollars is enough) at the same place you buy this card.
🤘 Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, for walking.
🧢 If the tour is in the daytime, it will be ideal to wear a hat or cap and use sunscreen.
💰 For small purchases, it will be better if you have Colombian pesos. Some commercial establishments are not prepared to receive foreign currency or credit card payments. It will be better if you prepare this in advance, as there will not always be a place to exchange currency along the tour route. However, if you took a private tour, you can request that we modify the route a little and take time out of the service to look for a money exchange house, we will gladly accompany you to change your money.
If you have any outstanding balance to pay to MEDELLÍN DE CERCA, you must be in good standing before starting the tour.
During the tour
🚗 Every time the vehicle makes a stop, the occupants must get out of it with the belongings they want to have on hand during the walks and tours, because in many places the vehicle cannot remain parked there, but must be removed to park somewhere distant.
⚠ Please inform the guide if you have any limitations with some foods (e.g., due to diabetes or allergies) or limitations related to some activities such as climbing ladders, being at high altitude, etc.
🧏♀ If you later decide to add extra services that were not included at the time of booking, please let your consultant know in advance to schedule them in the best way. These services have additional costs.
